When we crossed the one million paid app sales for Flick Fishing last weekend we were super excited, we'd been paying attention to it since Apple's "All Time Top Paid Apps" listing (All Time Top Paid Apps List - iTunes Link) had come out in April, at that time we were the #8th most popular app of all time (behind Moto Chaser in the #6 spot :-). And since then none of the other apps in front of us had been in contention having fallen in the charts, with the exception perhaps of Bejeweled.

So on Monday some quick googling confirmed no one had issued a PR saying they'd crossed that milestone and and we let ours fly. Since we raised our flag of ultimate victory (Yar!), we've talked to some of our friends in the iPhone App world and it seems two other apps probably crossed the line before us. Pocket God by a few weeks and Flight Control, perhaps by a few days. Since Apple doesn't confirm or release this sort of data these things are bound to happen -- we're happy to step down to the silver or bronze pedestal, as is only fair. Moto Chaser isn't so far off from our second 1M selling title, and we'll race 'em to 2M sold -- Ultimate Victory goes to the... ultimate victor? Yar!
