Moto Chaser is now the number one Paid App in the iTunes App Store, and Flick Bowling is right behind it in the next spot!

We are thrilled that so many people are enjoying our games. They won't be in the top spots forever, but we are damn proud to be there right now.

Yippeeeee! Woo-hoo! Nice job guys, I'm going to do a couple backflips to celebrate.

It smells a lot like freshly unpacked consumer electronics. Our office was in a bit of a stir this morning after receiving word that Moto Chaser won first place in the "Just Plain Cool" category of iLounge's Quest for the Best iPhone App contest. We were all huddled around that mysterious brown box that arrived -- inside was our prize: a Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin iPod Speaker System.

Wow! This thing is so nice and we're enjoying it immensely! Neil Young has the distinction of being the artist whose song got to test out our new office toy. The speakers sound great! We'd like to extend some amazingly appreciative thank-you's to B&M and iLounge for this honor.

Now, if you'll excuse me, it's time to participate in the bloodsport to decide whose iPhone gets to be plugged in next.

I need an intern. Why you ask? Well for a few reasons. Mostly, to assist me with a Xbox project I'm working on. While I think it'd be a great internship for a Student, it's not limited to just students.

We are pretty close to NYU, and I think it'd be great for an NYU student.

The internship would consist of the following:

• Gameplay, Functional and Compatibility testing on an Xbox project.
• Gameplay, Functional and Compatibility testing on Mac/PC projects.
• Additional fun things that happen in a small dev house.
• All the Coke and Mt. Dew you can drink.

We are a small studio with a very light hearted friendly atmosphere. I don't even wear shoes!

The position is flexible, so students are welcome (and encouraged). The position is unpaid however, but there are lots of perks.

All interested people should contact me, bruce@freeverse.com. Send your resumé right away. And of course this is entry level so we are not expecting 20 years of C++ programing and a PhD in Science.

Twoism

An amusing anecdote from earlier today that I thought I'd drop by to share with you, the viewers.

We have a pair of development machines in the office that serve tandem functions. Earlier today, we decided to rebuild one from scratch, which meant we got to rename it. The other box was named "John McClane", of Die Hard fame. It was only natural that we renamed the first box "Hans Gruber". Right? Of course.

Within ten minutes of these two machines being next to each other, the first box died. That's right: John McClane killed Hans Gruber.

No, we did not drop it out of a window in slow-motion.

You don't want to know how much this building cost. We had to tear down one of the wings and build a larger one. The interest alone for the first five years comes to $95,000,000.

We'll be giving you guys an inside tour in the weeks to come.
